I've long been convinced the Green Lobby is out to destroy modern society in its ever-insatiable desire to find the "greenest" technology. Take for instance the latest "green" warning against electric cars.

Yes, electric cars. You know, the ones that are supposed to replace the evil internal combustion cars.

In a Web cast held on Nov. 5, Ford Motor Company announced a new "breakthrough technology" designed with the elderly and children in mind. Starting next year with the roll-out of its new generation of the Explorer, Ford will be adding an inflatable seat belt designed to inflate upon impact--as does a standard air bag.

The field of illegal marketers was narrowed recently when a California court ruled against spammer Sanford "Spamford" Wallace in a case brought by social network giant, Facebook. The spam king was ordered to pay $711 million for his digital misdeeds.

Early Friday morning, it was announced by the Nobel Foundation that America's first black president, Barack Obama, has won the Nobel Peace Prize.
