Last week, we were sent the latest innovative toy to hit shelves this year, Swinxs.

Swinxs is marketed as a “screen free game console” which is a bit hard to explain. Basically, it’s a green, tri-corner box that has a bunch of gizmos inside of it that guide kids to interact with it and each other. Up to 10 kids can play by wearing a wristband that contains an RFID chip.

Of all of the personal electronic products, earbuds are one of the most intimate items that a person could buy – at least from Best Buy. Let's admit it, it's just not natural to stuff miniaturized speakers into your ear canal. But there's a reason why we use them and when a set of earbuds are done right, there's a reason why we can actual enjoy them.

Yes, Apple products are very cool, very hip and generally very good. Anyone who owns a product made by Apple would more than likely notice the high build quality that is a result of precise engineering and tight tolerances.

But . . . Apple products are designed by a company that has become very, very stubborn and at times this stifles their innovation and muddles common sense.
